Caramel White Chocolate

I have to SHARE this delicious recipe I came up with whilst trying to make a sugar-free treat with what I had left over in the kitchen.

If you have ever tasted Caramac.. ??  and loved it? Then you will LOVE this recipe. Even better than Caramac this recipe is totally HEALTHY!!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp of cashew butter
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil
  • coconut flakes
  • stevia to taste ( i use 5-6 drops)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

melt the coconut oil over a low heat, add in the cashew butter and stir until well mixed and soft. Add in all other ingredients. Stir well.

The pour onto a baking tray and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.

Serve once they are set.

These are sooooo good! My new favourite SUGAR FREE treat.

Valentines Treats

Valentines is a few days away and I love Valentines day!

I know people say it’s a made up day and  just about buying cards, presents and chocolates. But I think any day that symbolises LOVE is a good thing!

Yes you can show your love any day of the year, it doest have to be just on Valentines… however if it encourages us to stop and remember how important love is and to show it and share it, it’s a winner for me 🙂

I’m not talking love from just a romantic partner, but love for everybody, your family, friends, pets.. and for yourself! I always recommend lots of self love every day.

The whole vibration of  love combined will be felt everywhere. Let’s all raise it TOGETHER everyday!

Low Sugar and Sugar Free Smoothies

I LOVE smoothies, for so many reason’s :

  • you can add a bunch of nutrients
  • they are so quick and easy to make
  • you can carry them with you
  • they are a great post workout recovery
  • they are easy on the digestion
  • you can experiment with them

My personal favourite’s are low sugar smoothies. I find  that my blood sugar feels much more balanced, my digestion and gut health has improved and I feel better overall following a low sugar way of living.

So I prefer to use berries as my go to fruit in smoothies, over bananas, pineapple, mango etc.. and I don’t add honey, agave syrup or maple syrup to sweeten, I like to use stevia. (sweet leaf is the only brand I use)

So here are a few of my favourites: ( add ingredients to blender and blend till smooth ) Ta Da.

Berries and Cream

  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 1 tbsp of coconut cream
  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • stevia to sweeten

Yoga Green

  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 2 cups of coconut water
  • 1/2 avocado
  • stevia to sweeten
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil

Cinnamon Shake

  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • pinch of vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • stevia to sweeten
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil

Super Green

  • 2 sticks of celery
  • 2 cups of coconut water
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp of almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp of spirulina
  • 1 tsp of green powder
  • 1 inch of ginger
  • stevia to sweeten
  • 1/2 tsp of matcha powder
  • pinch of sea salt

Are You Playing Hide & Seek With Your Flow?

Are you playing hide and seek with your flow?

I know I was for a while. However I found its little hiding place and we have been reunited once again.

Welcome back flow 🙂 I missed you. Why did you hide ? Tell me.

I tuned in and meditated on this question, and I got a whole lot of information that I want to share with you.

We are told by so many people do MORE , take ACTION, STRIVE for more. This is where the happiness is.. at the end of the goal, at the end of the road, at the end of a struggle..

I don’t agree.

Okay so it can get a bit confusing… I’m not saying don’t take action, don’t have goals, as these are all part of us growing as human beings.. However goals and action can be done in a more LOVING way.

A way which won’t make your flow run off and hide..

It needs to feel good! The journey towards the goal has to feel good, otherwise what is the point?

You are going after your dreams and your desires but it just feels like a struggle, the fun and love of it has disappeared and you wonder why you are even doing this anymore?

STOP.

Breathe.

Okay we need to connect and we need to let the mind/brain have a little holiday for a while, we are going to get back in connection with our HEART. Our hearts desires!

Hold your hand on your heart, sit silently somewhere quiet and  tune in. Ask your heart what it desires and really listen, FEEL, allow what needs to come up, and be released. Sit for 5 – 10 minutes having a lovely little chat with your heart, however it’s a little one-sided as I want you just to listen 😉

Write down what came up for you. Don’t judge it, it could be anything. Just write. RELEASE.

You see your flow comes from your heart.

It doesn’t come from the to do list, or the pushing, or the pulling, or the DOING. It comes from the BEING.

When you remember to connect to your heart and soul, and really listen to them, that is where your FLOW is hiding my love.

As always it’s about balance, a BALANCE between doing and being. Finding your OWN unique balance.

When you are tuned into your hearts desires and not the ones you THINK you should have, but your true, true desires. This is where the dreams and goals really flow.

They will feel good, you will feel good about them, they will feel TRUE to you.

So take that Flow into your actions, your goals, always take your heart with you and really listen. It will always have your back 🙂

What’s This All About?

Everything feel’s different…

Can you feel it ? What is going on ? Who Am I ? I can’t cope.

I thought I had it all under control. (ahh yes control.. we’ll get back to that later 😉

I don’t know about you.. but every single person I have spoken to including myself is feeling deeply challenged by lots of things coming up for them.

It is the time of REBIRTH my friends :

This could mean  old emotions, patterns, belief’s and fears coming up for you. The good news is it is coming up to be cleared. There is a light at the end of this tunnel love’s, I promise! Lets all hang in together.

RESPONSIBILITY

It’s a time where we are being made to face the changes we need to make. We are being called to take responsibility for ourselves, our actions, our thoughts our lives!

This could be :

  • Food
  • Relationships
  • Career
  • Fitness
  • Spirituality

This energy we are feeling is very much saying , if you want to feel differently.. then YOU have to take the ACTION, it is up to you, only you have the power to change what you feel needs changing. To grow in the direction you want to grow in.

Yes there is such a thing as LOVING ACTION 🙂 It’s what I teach. It does not have to be hard!

LETTING GO

Scary huh! yes we like control. Letting go of control scares the poop out of me, I’m a Virgo, I’ll be honest with you, it’s what us Virgo’s do!

However we are being shown that control, and wanting to be certain of every little thing is not going to happen, nope, it’s just not..

To be in our heart’s, following our heart’s, going with the flow, being open to receiving from the universe abundantly, we need to LET GO.

Say it with me now lettttt goooooo.

I believe this is something we are all feeling and yes  it can bring up a wide range of emotions, especially the tighter we hold our grip, not wanting to let go, the more we resist the more those emotions will persist.

Breath beautiful, everything is going to be okay.

CONNECT

This year especially I believe that it is so important to connect, we thrive on connection as human beings, and with the shift that is happening we need our tribes more than ever.

It is time to be very aware of the people around you, who you spend your time with. The energy you are in. The energy you put yourself in. Find Your tribe! Join a group, follow your hobbies,  be with those that make you feel amazing, loved, connected.

Connect, connect, connect to others that resonate with you!

LISTEN

Tune into yourself, get quiet, meditate, take that time for you, it’s important. As deep down in the peace and quiet are the answers your searching for beautiful.It’s there, you just need to give yourself enough space to silent those frantic thoughts, the to do list and those fears to hear and FEEL the loving voice underneath with all the wisdom it wants to share with you. Especially in this changing time.

So what is it about? It’s about letting go of the old, welcoming the new, becoming the best version of yourself whilst loving and accepting who you are right now. It’s about knowing that everything will always work out for you perfectly and that this clearing of the old is a god send to all of us. To embrace these emotions and feelings as they make you stronger, wiser and YOU.

What Does Sexuality Mean To You?

This question to me relates to the sacral chakra and I believe being comfortable with our sexuality is very important for a healthy body and balanced energy system.

Sexuality

What does it mean to you?

  • Is it who you love?
  • What sex they are?
  • Loving the same sex?
  • The opposite sex?
  • Or both?
  • You love the person! And what sex they are has nothing to do with it..?
  • Is sexuality the expression of yourself, the way you express yourself?
  • Do you consider yourself in touch with your sexuality?
  • Is it the way you dress?
  • The way you live life?
  • Your creativity?
  • How you approach sex?
  • How much sex your have?
  • Nothing to do with any of the above?

We are all so different, so unique, and of course all on our own path.

I’m sure the answer to this question will be different for everyone.

 Maybe this question has no one answer!..

As I sit and think for myself what it means to me, it conjures up a whole lot of questions, ones that can’t seem to be answered in a “simple” way.

Feelings don’t always have an explanation, but just are!

You see, is it that simple, to explain what it means to us…?  maybe it just is!

Maybe we just are. 

To me this comes back to the soul, and how we are made up of energy, light and love.

We come into form into a human body, which is then categorized into, male & female.

But is it that simple?

What is male and what is female to you? I’m sure it’s more than what sexual organs we have.. You see it just isn’t that simple.

Masculine & Feminine Energy:

Yes some of us will have more of one and less of the other.. Making us seem different. But when it comes down to it are we not all the same?!

We all have dreams, goals, and passions, we all LOVE.

We all CREATE.

A Holistic view point:

  • The colour Red/Orange,
  • The second chakra in the energy body, sacral area,
  • Our desires, dreams and passions
  • Our Creativity
  • The feeling of Love, Warmth, Desire
  • Foods that taste sweet and indulgent and sensual

I think of foods like:

I even have a recipe 🙂

Black Cherry Chocolate Shake

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of pitted fresh cherries
  • 1 tbsp of raw cacao powder
  • 2 cups of almond milk (home made is best)
  • 1 tsp of raw honey
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of vanilla powder
  • ½ tsp of maca powder

Blend all ingredients in a blender to make the healthiest decadent smoothie ever!

So back to what it means?

For me?

For me sexuality is how I live, and love life, and yes that includes who I live with and love in my life, but it also is so much more than that and also nothing to do with that in the same instance, it’s how I love, its what I love, and it has no label, no box, and certainly no explanation. It’s just me.

It’s just you.

We are!

I am.

Let’s cleanse this sacral chakra together and LOVE who we are 🙂

The Energy Of Foods

I believe that different foods relate to our chakra’s and can effect our energy.

Here are 4 foods that are in season at the moment that you can test out for yourself . I also believe seasonal eating is very important too for a balanced body.

Purple Sprouting Broccoli

This will help you to connect to your inner self by nourishing and re-energising your crown chakra, which represents spirituality.

Kale

Working with your heart chakra, this nutritious green veg is super rich in iron, calcium, and vitamins A & C. The ancient romans used to eat it at their feast’s  to show devotion to venus, the goddess of love.

Parsnips

These root veg will work on your root chakra, helping you feel grounded, centred and appreciate the present moment. Nourishing our base chakra and providing us with a strong foundation.

Jerusalem Artichokes

Another great root veg, so great for healing the liver, and again balancing the root chakra.

Eating a wide range of colourful foods is a great way to balance your chakra’s.

A Healthy Root Chakra:

This chakra will  promote core feelings of being part of a tribe or community, and it anchors the body in feelings of trust, safety, and protection.

Root Chakra Healing Foods: 

  • Protein,
  • Root vegetables,
  • Edible and medicinal mushrooms,
  • Red-colored foods (apples, pomegranates, etc)

A Healthy Sacral Chakra :

This chakra will assist in wielding and manifesting raw creativity into an external form, including through relationships with another healthy Sacral Chakra allows us to “go with the flow” of life.

Sacral Chakra Healing Foods: 

  • Fats and oils, fish (especially wild-caught salmon),
  • Tropical fruits,
  • Seeds,
  • Nuts,
  • Orange-colored foods (oranges, tangerines, carrots, etc.)

A Healthy Solar Plexus Chakra

This chakra will manifest as a brilliant expression of personal power accompanied by balanced energy flow and clear perceptions of life situations.

Solar Plexus Chakra Healing Foods: 

  • Carbohydrates (complex),
  • Fiber,
  • Whole grains,
  • Legumes,
  • Yellow-colored foods (yellow sweet peppers, yellow lentils, corn, etc.)

A Healthy Heart Chakra

This chakra is the place where unconditional love is centered. Unconditional Love is a creative and powerful energy that may guide and help us through the most difficult times.

Heart Chakra Healing Foods: 

  • Vegetables (especially cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale, cabbage, and leafy greens),
  • Sprouts,
  • Raw foods,
  • Foods rich in chlorophyll,
  • Plant compounds like phytoestrogens and phytosterols,
  • Any green-colored foods.

A Healthy Throat Chakra

This chakra will serve as the portal to communicate and express the emotions, thoughts, and feelings of the other Chakras through sound in a way that is authentic and true.

Throat Chakra Healing Foods: 

  • Sea plants,
  • Fruits,
  • Juices,
  • Soups,
  • Sauces, (which bring together different elements like water and earth), and foods from different ethnic groups)
  • (The throat Chakra encourages a variety of foods.)

A Healthy Third Eye Chakra

This chakra will encourage the path of internal visions and dreams, with the realization that they are Divinely guided and inspired.

Third Eye Chakra Healing Foods:

  • Caffeine,
  • Tea,
  • Chocolate,
  • Spices,
  • Wine,
  • Purple-red foods (purple potatoes, red onions, blackberries, blueberries, purple grapes, etc.)

A Healthy Crown Chakra

This chakra will manifest as the ability for individuals to be confident in their faith in a Higher Power, higher self, or in a force that is highly intelligent and creative.

Crown Chakra Healing Foods:

Since the Crown Chakra is more “spirit” than “matter,” it is not nourished with physical foods in the same way that they feed other Chakras, but the Crown Chakra thrives on the sustenance that comes from:

  • Sunlight
  • Air
  • Love
